Where did the idea of 'Stranger Things' come from? - Montauk Chronicles by Preston Nichols & Peter Moon - Anything is Possible Blog

I am so fascinated with the show Stranger Things by the Duffer Brothers on Netflix, that I went online and searched where their idea had come from. Not only the plot of the show is incredible, but it references — ETThe ThingStand By MeCarrieNightmare on Elm StThe FogFirestarter, AlienIt, The Never Ending Story, The Goonies, the list goes on. I was surprised to read that the show comes from an actual event that happened during the ’70s and ’80s in Montauk, New York.

Obviously, as a native New Yorker and a person seeking spiritual truth and freedom, I was eager to learn more. I wanted to determine for myself if an actual event had happened and if it’s still occurring today. After doing a lot of research, I came across the Montauk Chronicles by Preston B. Nichols and Peter Moon. There are three books titled: The Montauk Project: Experiments In Time (1992), Montauk Revisited: Adventures In Synchronicity (1994), and Pyramids of Montauk: Explorations In Consciousness(1995)

The books speak of topics that should not be spoken of. They are topics truths that only a small percentage of beings are allowed to know and keep secret—the elite, secret government, the system, Illuminati—and sadly, everyone else is conditioned to learn and know the antithesis. Each book gets more elaborate as it goes deep in discussing the most paradoxical phenomenons.

Do I believe everything the books say? Absolutely because anything is possible! I felt every word in my gut to be true. Especially since there are many other books of the exact topics, published in recent years. Moon expresses and discloses that the books are not an attempt to prove anything. Its purpose is to get the story told. They are non-fiction but can be read as science fiction— whatever is suitable to the reader.

The Montauk Project: Experiments In Time does a great job of unmasking forty years of extensive research that took place in Camp Hero. The book is a first-hand account of Preston Nichols when he was a technician in the Montauk Project itself. It is a fascinating personal story of his research that includes the technological applications of changing time, mind control, brainwashing, and manipulating time.

Montauk Revisited: Adventures In Synchronicity is the sequel, sought to answer many open-ended questions providing a more elaborate of the occult forces that were behind the science and technology used in the Montauk Project. This includes sensitive topics and interesting people such as the Genesis of American Rocketry, history of the electronic transistor, the magick to Aleister Crowley, Jack Parsons, and L. Ron HubbardIt is a wonder how it all relatesbut it does.

Pyramids of Montauk: Explorations In Consciousness, is the last book of the Montauk Chronicles. The book digs deeper into the psyche of the Montauk phenomena and gives startling insights into the construction and wonders of the Universe. It covers interestingly bizarre topics such as the consciousness of humanity, ancient history and origins, the discovery of Pyramids in Montauk, the mystery schools of earth, and their connection to Egypt, Atlantis, Mars, and so much more!

Below are some of the essential and interesting topics that are worth knowing more about and reasons for reading all three books!

Many of the things that occur on Stranger Things, actually happened in Montauk!

If you are a fan of the show like millions are, then you may be interested in doing research about the events in Camp Hero, Montauk. There are many striking similarities, such as the abduction of children (Eleven), a portal to another dimension (‘the upside-down), summoning a monster (Demogorgon), and so much more!

The Philadelphia Experiment

In October 1943, the US military supposedly conducted secret experiments in the naval shipyard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It succeeded in uncovering how to make its ships invisible to radar, but accidentally managed to cause a battleship to travel to a different dimension. The experiment had adverse effects, and the project had to shut down.

The Philadelphia Experiment was revived in the ’80s with the Montauk experiments, and may still be going on today!

Mind control & Brainwashing

Boys (ages 3-13), orphans, and homeless were kidnapped—forced out of their will and experimented on. Most of the experiments dealt with mood manipulation on test subjects to control their minds. Brainwashing techniques like high dosages of LSD, inducing people to sleep for thirty-nine days, and other drugs were used to brainwash those who participated in the experiments. Including people who worked in the Camp Hero facility, such as Preston Nichols.

The Montauk Chair

The Montauk Chair” was an interface device used to boost a test subject’s psychic energy (like how Dr. Martin Brenner did to Eleven) to help them perform a variety of tasks. No one knows or remembers where the chair’s technology came from, although it’s likely that the chair’s parts come from extraterrestrials.

The most accomplished member of Montauk’s team of psychic researchers, Duncan Cameron. He was able to deeply tap into his telekinesis powers thanks to the increase in psychic energy from the Montauk Chair. The idea behind the chair was for Cameron to visualize an object — a watch, a gun, or even as some people have said, a building — and materialize it somewhere on the base.

Time Travel

Duncan Cameron was also able to open portals to the past and present by sitting on the ‘chair’ connected to transmitters and the Delta T antenna. Cameron directed his focus to a specific year, from say 1980 (then the current time) to 1990. A hole appeared right in the center of the Delta T antenna, and one was able to walk through the portal from 1980 – 1990. The portal remained open as long as Cameron concentrated on 1990 and 1980.

Extraterrestrials do Exist!

According to Preston Nichols, our government have been signing treaties with alien groups and fully have known about their existence. There are three treaties Nichols knows of and mentions in Montauk Revisited: Adventures In Synchronicity. The first treaty was signed in 1913 and involved World War I. The second treaty was signed somewhere around 1945-1947, which dealt with an alien technology exchange of some kind. The third treaty was signed between 1951 and 1954. The grays desired a particular technology from us, and in return, they provided something our government needed.

The Montauk Boys

The Montauk Boys were a group of fifty children and young adults programmed to serve the secret government. They were trained to be assassins in the sense that when the secret government wanted to activate them, they would be on the call anytime things became chaotic. Their job was to go after government enemies.

What does Montauk really mean?

Montauk has several meanings. It’s defined as an ‘island place,’ ‘spirit tree,’ ‘mount,’ ‘fortress,’ or a place from which to observe. Interestingly, Peter Moon did extensive research about its meaning and gave Montauk an in-depth definition:

Mon.tauk (mön’tök’) [ <Algonquin tribal name < Atlantean Vrillic mon, first, man, or first man (Adam)+ tok, squeeze out, show, reveal. Word origin based upon earliest manifestations of man in the form of human consciousness extending into spacetime continuum and implied generations, degeneration and regeneration thereof…” Book 3, Chapter 24, p. 169

CONCLUSION – Who were or still is behind the Montauk Project?

No one to this day knows who was behind the Montauk project. There is no record of who or what funded it, which is why it has been challenging to prove that Camp Hero was a base for supernatural experiments. Also, there are speculations that they’re still operational. One has access to Camp Hero park, but the base is fenced to prevent people from checking it out. Which makes one believe that there may still be experiments going on today!
