A quarter-life crisis is a period of intense soul searching and stress that occurs in your mid-twenties to early thirties. It is considered a time of struggle because often many feel they’re not achieving their potential or feeling they’re falling behind.

Some of the signs of a quarter-life crisis are becoming overwhelmed, stressed, depressed, or anxious without any specific reason. You may enter a dark time, not knowing what to do in your career, relationships, and generally, life. Your mind may even feel clouded, not able to think clearly, making you feel confused.

There are so many benefits when it comes to meditation. It is a tool that we should all practice daily. It helps us become aware of ourselves, and everything around us. It gives us perspective and opens our minds to different possibilities that we’ve never thought of before. Self-Awareness

Self- awareness is your ability to notice your feelings, your physical sensations, your reactions, your habits, your behaviors, and your thoughts— it is about being honest with yourself— it is your truth.

Being self-aware is not easy. Some people never experience self-awareness in their life. That is due to lack of knowledge and limited access to figuring out their full potential. However, everyone is capable of reaching awareness with practice and some guidance.

Understand you cannot control anything but yourself

Reconnect to your Inner Child

Inner child work is the process of contacting, understanding, embracing, and healing your inner child. Your inner child represents and contains your capacity to experience wonder, joy, innocence, sensitivity, and playfulness. When you are reconnect with this fragmented part of yourself, you can begin to discover the root of many of your fears, phobias, insecurities, and sabotaging life patterns. This is where true healing happens!

Ask yourself: If I could choose to do anything in this Universe, what would it be?

This is an essential question to ask yourself. If you could do anything on this planet, what would it be? What do you imagine yourself doing? What did you imagine yourself doing when you were a kid? Believe it or not, you were born knowing, but fear, self-doubt, and conditioning have derailed you from your purpose. This is the time to begin to figure it out!

Whether it is a Gratitude Journal or a diary, writing everyday or when you need to the most, helps with becoming aware of what is really bothering you deep inside. Pour your emotions; however, you want, without restrictions!

Compassion

Compassion starts by looking within– taking some time to understand your own emotions and responses to life events. Begin by developing self-love, and you will see how you will be better equipped to have compassion for others.

Live in the NOW!

Living in the now is all you have. Think about it, without the present moment, there is no future. The past has already happened. The only thing to do now is to realize what you can do at this very moment that can make your life better. Nothing can happen without the current, the past is useful only to learn from past mistakes. All you have moving forward is what is going on right now as you read this blog post.
